Important:
Municipal clerks and election commissioners are required to be certified by the Secretary of State before conducting any regularly scheduled election. Municipal elections officials can only be certified within six months prior to the date of the general election. Municipal party executive committee members are required to be certified by the Secretary of State within 12 months prior to the date of the primary election. Please register for the training session that falls within the appropriate time period for your election. All training sessions will be conducted using Microsoft Teams.
Municipal elections officials are not required to be certified to conduct a special election. However, if you anticipate your municipality will need to conduct a special election, you are more than welcome to register for one of the below training sessions.
Please be advised only the officials expressly mentioned above will be allowed to attend. Candidates, press, or any other official will not be allowed to attend.
